Human machine

Three of the world’s top minds have spoken out against the dangers of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and mass automation. Stephen Hawking, Elon Musk and Bill Gates have each recently warned about the proliferation of AI in society. While robots already do the jobs of people with a hundred times the productivity and quality, they are still controlled by humans through programming and operation. Yet as AI technology evolves, the root computer programs will become self-regulated by the robots themselves and humans could eventually lose control.

Just imagine if your iPad suddenly started thinking for itself? Imagine if Siri suddenly told you what to do and what to ask? Now take this even further to imagine if an armed drone or tactical robot decided to think for itself.? Or maybe the computer guidance programs for nuclear missiles decide to launch thanks to a corrupt AI system that learned deception from the humans who created it?

The point is that Artificial Intelligence is dangerous to mankind if left unchecked and although Hawking, Gates and Musk tend to be left wing supporters, their warnings should not be ignored. If anything, when these globalists warn about AI, we’d better take them seriously because they’ve obviously scared themselves as globalists.

Raising robots could eventually be like raising kids. They will learn the good, the bad and the ugly by the humans who raise them. By watching us, AI will learn to be good, but they will also learn how to lie, cheat and steal while keeping a straight face. Artificial Intelligence is not inherently evil, but with the influence of humans – it will learn fast….Perhaps too fast?
