The former director general of Venezuela’s Identification, Migration and Aliens Office has exposed a huge lucrative scam involving 10,000 Venezuelan passports and other documents that were illegally given to citizens of Syria, Iran and other Middle Eastern countries. Colonel Vladimir Medrano Rengifo claims that most passports and visas were granted in the Venezuelan Consulate in Damascus, Syria.
In an interview today with El Nuevo Herald, Medrano claims the passport scam was headed up by Venezuela’s current Vice President, Tareck El Aissami. The mostly Syrian nationals would pay for fake documents and then fly to Venezuela under assumed names. Once in Venezuela, the government purposely lost track of them.
“Today we don’t know where these people are nor what they are doing. They can be anywhere in the world traveling with Venezuelan documentation. The number of Middle Eastern individuals with irregular Venezuelan documentation could now be much larger than the ten thousand,” Medrano said.
Medrano was fired in October 2009, after only 19 months by El Aissami, who was Minister of Interior and Justice at the time. According to Medrano, El Aissami fired him because he knew the colonel was trying to dismantle the human smuggling network.
Considering there were 10,000 illegals brought in during Medrano’s time on the job and assuming the scam continued after his dismissal, there could be as many as 70,000 illegal Middle Eastern aliens on the loose. While they could be anywhere in the world, speculation is that thousands easily made their way through Mexico and across the border into the United States, during the open border policies of the Obama Administration. This could also account for numerous Muslim prayer rugs and Korans found in the desert and reported by US Border Patrol agents over the past decade. Here’ a CBS story from 2005 that admits this was going on way back then. Of course after eight years of Obama, the fakestream media refuses to report on it anymore.
