Rasmea Odeh, leader of the recent “A Day Without Women” march has been charged with immigration fraud for lying on her visa and citizenship forms about past terrorist convictions and ties to terrorist groups in her homeland of Palestine.

According to a document from the US Justice Department, “Mrs. Odeh will plead guilty to Unlawful Procurement of Naturalization, lose her U.S. citizenship and be forced to leave the country, but will exit the U.S. without having to serve any more time in prison or ICE detention”.

Considering the government was fighting for a sentence of 5-7 years, Odeh got off easy thanks to a legal fund backed by George Soros and the democrats. The 69 year old Odeh is an activist with the Arab American Action Network which is directly tied to the Muslim Brotherhood and Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). She was alleged to be a member of the “Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine” (PFLP), a designated terror group. In 1970, she was convicted in Israel for taking part in two bombings, one at a supermarket in Jerusalem and another at the British consulate. Two Israeli students were killed in the supermarket bombing and a total of 10 were injured in both two blasts. Incidentally, some of the injured were women.

Odeh was freed from prison in 1980 in some sort of prisoner exchange. She then emigrated to the U.S. in the 1990s and gained citizenship in 2004. She has denied taking part in any terrorist acts and has claimed that she was tortured and sexually assaulted by Israeli police to elicit her confession.

Either way she lied about her legal history while being vetted for citizenship, which is very telling about our general vetting process for immigrants of any kind – not to mention refugees. The Obama administration knew all about this left wing democrat and chose to ignore her crimes, but the Trump administration is beginning to drain the “Illegal Immigrant Swamp” as promised by the president himself.
